Blender OperatorLocation : Tamarac, FLPay:Level 1: $22-25/hr (no shift differential)Level 2: $26-28/hr (plus $0.60 shift differential)Shifts:1st shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm2nd shift: 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm3rd shift: 10:00 pm - 6:30 amJob Description: As a Blender Operator, you will be responsible for manufacturing blend batches with active drug substances, ensuring consistent blending. You will weigh and document raw materials, components, and product intermediates, maintaining accurate records of operational parameters and steps performed. Additionally, you will perform batch record accountability calculations and comply with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety policies. Maintaining and cleaning manufacturing and production areas and equipment will also be part of your duties.Key Responsibilities:Manufacturing: Manufacture blend batches with active drug substances and ensure consistent blending.Weighing & Documentation: Weigh and document raw materials, components, and product intermediates.Record Keeping: Document operational parameters and steps performed in the batch record.Accountability: Perform batch record accountability calculations.Compliance: Comply with cGMP, SOPs, and safety policies.Maintenance: Maintain and clean manufacturing and production areas and equipment, documenting work performed in logbooks.Recipe Management: Follow preformulated recipes, pulling items needed for the mixing/blending process.Essential Skills:Experience mixing and blending experience in a pharmaceutical environment or similar industries such as food.Technical Knowledge: Understanding of batch records and compounding.Communication: Ability to speak and write English effectively.Education: High school diploma or GED plus a minimum of one year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Minimal Math: Minimal math involved in calculations as everything is preformulated.Physical Ability: Ability to pull items needed for the mixing/blending process.Why Work Here?Benefits: Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k plan, and some relocation assistance up to $3,000 with 12 weeks of paid corporate housing.Growth Opportunities: Work in a new facility with opportunities to help set the direction, partner on processes, and contribute to training and development as the company scales and grows.Holidays: The facility is closed on December 25th and January 1st, ensuring time for personal commitments during these holidays.Work Environment:Setting: Sterile, cleanroom environment with air conditioning.Shifts: Facility operates on three shifts.Safety: Use of PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toe shoes, and hardhats is required.Physical Demands: Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment, see details at close range, stand or sit for 8+ hours per day, use abdominal and lower back muscles repeatedly, and make coordinated movements of the fingers and hands.
