Responsibilities EverWatch is pioneering the roll out of zero-trust infrastructure, called Thunderdome, across DoD federal agencies. Everyone is trying to "harness the cloud," but not everyone knows how. As a DevOps engineer, you're eager to develop, manage, and secure a container platform that meets your client's needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. We need you to help us develop container management software to solve some of our clients' toughest challenges. As a platform DevOps engineer at EverWatch, you can use your technical skills to affect mission-forward change. On our team, you'll strengthen your skills using the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your client's environment with current container software to ensure seamless orchestration. Using your DevOps platform knowledge, you'll support your team as you inform strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process. You'll work with your team to recommend resources that will help your client manage and securely adopt containers. Additionally, you'll gain DevOps skills and experience while supporting the development of critical cloud platforms. Qualifications You Have: 4 years of experience with DevOps and Agile methodologies Experience with Kubernetes, including distributions such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), or VMWare Tanzu Experience with automation tools, including Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet Experience with automating system configurations and orchestrating network operations and DevOps pipelines, scaling, releases, and day-to-day system operations in Cloud environments Experience with managing Git-based version control systems, including GitLab and GitHub Experience with architecting and deploying applications on Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure Experience with managing deployments via Helm charts Secret clearance HS diploma or GED Nice If You Have: Experience with infrastructure-as-code environments, including activities around the automated server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, or monitoring and testing, including continuous integration and continuous delivery Experience with provisioning and managing infrastructure and applications in Cloud environments, including Amazon Web Services, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform Experience with scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Ruby DoD8570 IAT II Compliance Certification, including Sec or CASP Clearance Level Secret Job Locations US-MD-Annapolis Junction Skills Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, Linux
