Located along the Chippewa River in West Central Minnesota, 45 minutes west of Willmar and 1 hour south of Alexandria, Benson is a family-friendly community of nearly 3,500 residents. The CentraCare Benson Clinic serves patients in several different specialties.

Summary
  • Deliver patient-focused rooming for various types of clinic visits.
  • Communicate results and other relevant medical information to patients and providers.
  • Ensure the day-to-day activities of the clinic are completed efficiently and on time.
Schedule
  • Full-time position - Working 64 hours every two weeks | Onsite
  • Monday through Friday, Daytime shifts between the hours of 8:00AM and 5:00PM
Pay and Benefits
  • Pay based on experience starting at $18.01 per hour
    • Pay range: $18.01 - $25.62 per hour

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) with one of the following:
  • American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
  • American Medical Technologists (AMT)
  • Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
  • National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
  • National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
  • National Association for Health Professionals, Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)
  • Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
Must provide proof of pass notification prior to start with verification of official certification or registration within 3 months of exam date.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy.
  • Ability to understand patients' medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff.
