Plant Project Management Manager

As the Plant Project Management Manager, you and your team will have singular mission of ensuring plant execution of all customer projects and equipment orders from time of order until shipment and through the hand-off to services while providing clear and timely communication to the Front Office and ultimately our customers.
What will you do?
- Animate team to ensure customer projects and order on-time delivery, margin deviation/cost management, and customer satisfaction aligned to Schneider ETO Project Management practices and Customer Projects Process (CPP).
- Drive plant cross-functional accountability to meet customer expectations for the project or order.
- Organize and adjust Project Management activities based on project load, complexity, and required skills.
- Identify and define action plans for continuous improvement based on lessons learned.
- Develop and nurture strong collaborative relationships with other departments (Tendering, Project Execution, Finance and Controlling, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Project Engineering, and Purchasing and other key stakeholders).
What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
- Customer centric mindset
- Thorough understanding of Customer Project Process (CPP) and the progression of orders through various stages at a manufacturing plant, including scheduling, approvals, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, testing, and shipment pack out.
- Extensive project management experience focusing on adapting to complexities and managing team skills.
- Proven ability to optimize department capacity and drive continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in various tools including SEA, ERPs (AMAPS, SAP, MAPICS), Windchill, Symmetry, and bFO.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical science, business (or equivalent)
- 5+ years of experience in leading diverse business and technical teams
- 3+ years of Project Management experience
