We are searching for an Offer Quality Leader (OQL) – ACB & MCCBs. Someone who will leverage their passion for Customer Satisfaction to implement all necessary corrective and preventative actions to improve our design robustness and the quality of our current offers and follow-up on execution with our manufacturing plants. You will be working in close collaboration with our Design Engineering, Labs, Manufacturing, Marketing, Procurement, and Project Management teams.

 

What do you get to do in this position?

 

· Define and execute the Customer Satisfaction & Quality strategy, project quality plan, offer quality roadmap, and quality targets for your portfolio of offers.

· Drive approval for PEP Gates to ensure offer and regional quality requirements are met

· Manages the complete scope of Quality actions (in marketing, design, manufacturing, supply chain, services...) for your offers to improve the customer experience and ensure quality, reliability, and safety.

· Ensures that the proper information is provided to relevant stakeholders in case of offer evolution, quality problem, and/or withdrawal managing with countries and customer.

· Ensure the application of quality and reference processes and challenge the organization to manage quality risks.

· Drives risk management using the quality methods and tools such as FMEA, FTA, 8D, etc.

· Gather and analyze data on product problems, customer cases, and product returns and cost of non-quality using as an input to evolve offer quality roadmap/plan

· Support Front Office to manage major customer issues.

· Drives the Quality problems resolution, decides on stop of delivery and derogation.

· Lead structured problem solving and prevention (8D) with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Marketing and Manufacturing) and manage customer communication with countries and customers.

· Execute customer visits to gather market trends, follow up on field tests and translate the results into actionable requests in the program backlog.

· Represent Quality and provide data for your offers in the Board of Change and Offer Safety committee(s)

· Ensure the coordination of plant quality teams to guarantee the best quality in manufacturing and foster prevention.

Education

MS/BS in Mechanical, Industrial and Electrical Engineering preferred.

 

Experience

Minimum 8 years Manufacturing, Quality or Industrialization experience.

 

Minimum Qualifications

· Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to analyze and articulate technical problems.

· Working knowledge of fundamentals and practice of quality in product design and implementation in manufacturing

· Experience with 8D methodology, 5 Whys, Cause/Effect Analysis, FMEAs…

· Proven experience in Project Management

· Ability to acquire state-of-the-art industry knowledge related to company’s products

· Domestic and international air travel is required (when possible)
