Overview:
As the ARLO General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our upscale dining outlet. You will manage the front-of-house team, coordinate with culinary staff, and curate an unforgettable guest experience. This role calls for a seasoned leader with a deep understanding of high service standards, wine and spirits knowledge, and a talent for fostering a high-performing team culture. Pay Range: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00
Responsibilities:
- Guest Experience
- Oversee and enhance the guest experience to ensure an exceptional and seamless service.
- Engage with guests to personalize their dining experience and respond promptly to any inquiries or special requests.
- Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of fine dining servers, hosts, and support staff, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify growth opportunities for team members.
- Operational Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including reservations, floor management, and service standards.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Monitor and manage inventory, working closely with suppliers and the culinary team to source high-quality ingredients and beverages.
- Financial Oversight
- Develop and manage the restaurant’s budget, ensuring financial goals are met.
- Analyze sales and labor costs to optimize revenue and control expenses.
- Implement strategies to increase profitability, including promotions, special events, and upselling techniques.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Coordinate closely with the culinary team to ensure menu offerings and specials align with guest preferences.
- Facilitate pre-shift meetings to review daily service goals, VIPs, and special events.
- Communicate effectively with resort management and other departments to promote a cohesive, luxury experience.

Experience: Previous experience and enthusiasm for leading a diverse team of passionate people, and providing authentic experiences and distinctively different service to others in a team-oriented food and beverage environment.

Great Communicator: The ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and through excellent written communication.
Good Administrator: Organization and the ability to create, implement, and analyze manual and automated reports coupled with previous expertise operating POS systems is a must.
