We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Senior Electrical Engineer with a specialization in power engineering. This position is ideal for an engineer with at least 10 applicable years of experience who possesses a strong background in consulting engineering as a power systems engineer. Carollo’s vision is to be the BEST water consulting firm and you’ll find that Carollo is also the best place for you to build your career.This posting is scheduled to expire on 01/15/2025 if the position has not been filled prior to that date.ResponsibilitiesPerform detailed electrical power systems design for water and wastewater treatment facilities with minimum supervision by a Senior Level Electrical EngineerPerform load calculations, detailed conduit routing, motor control center and switchgear design, and specification generationQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical EngineeringFamiliarity with power system applications, including calculation of available short circuit current, voltage drop, harmonic distortion, and power factorField investigative and start-up experienceStrong understanding of NEC, NFPA 820 and NESCFamiliarity with the IEEE color book seriesProficient in MS Word and ExcelExcellent communication skillsHighly motivated, articulate, and self-startingHave the ability to interact positively with clients10-15 years experience working in Electrical EngineeringPE registration requiredPreferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in Electrical EngineeringPay Range$150,000 to $182,000 annually (compensation shown for Walnut Creek, CA location). This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
