Role/Profile:
  • This role will support and execute IT projects in a cross-functional environment, including Applications, Infrastructure, Security, and Operations
  • It will require a strong understanding of business acumen and business processes
  • Must have well-rounded communication, professional, and relationship management skills
  • Will interact with senior and executive leadership
Duties and Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution
  • Follow and maintain standardized project management methodologies, processes, templates, and best practices for IT projects
  • Establish project governance structures, ensuring proper oversight, decision-making, and accountability throughout the project lifecycle
  • Identify potential risks and issues across IT projects, develop risk mitigation strategies, and oversee their implementation to minimize project disruptions
  • Provide guidance and support in planning, executing, monitoring, and closing IT projects on time and within scope
  • Follow all Project Management Office guidelines
  • Must be proficient in managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Monitor expenditures against project budgets
Technical Expertise:
  • Ensure alignment of IT systems with business processes and objectives, identifying opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.
  • Provides technical oversight and guidance on the implementation of IT systems and software related to supply chain and manufacturing operations
  • Work with IT and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve project-related issues
Stakeholder Communication & Management
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for IT projects, providing regular status updates and performance reports to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate effective communication among project teams, stakeholders, leadership, and other relevant parties to ensure alignment and transparency
  • Collaborate with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and execute projects
Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Collaborate with appropriate departments to ensure the project team is aligned with project priority, objectives, scope, and status. This includes key business stakeholders, PMO, finance department, IT stakeholders, and leadership
  • Support adopting new IT processes, tools, and methodologies within the organization, ensuring smooth transitions and user acceptance.
  • Work closely with IT leadership.
Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Required for Consideration as a Candidate:
  • 7+ years of relevant experience is required as a Project Manager.
  • Experience in manufacturing and supply chain
  • B.A. / B.S. in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred
  • PMP or CASP+ certification preferred.
  • Experience with Project management tools such as Smartsheet and Microsoft Project required
  • Proven experience in project management and methodologies
  • Must have managed projects and workstreams for a major ERP implementation (i.e., SAP, Dynamics, Infor)
  • Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to develop business cases with ROI, following through with business case realization
  • Ability to communicate with technology staff, business staff, and executives in a professional and effective manner
