Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: N/A Certifications: BLS Certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network Must-Have: Graduation from an accredited school of Surgical Technology Job Description: - Prepare operating rooms for surgery by ensuring all necessary equipment and instruments are sterile and ready for use. - Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and other sterile supplies. - Maintain a clean and sterile environment in compliance with health and safety regulations and hospital protocols. - Anticipate the needs of surgical teams and provide appropriate materials promptly. - Demonstrate a high level of technical skill and an understanding of procedures to promote positive patient outcomes. - Ensure proper care and handling of surgical instruments and supplies. - Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless surgical process. - Uphold patient confidentiality and maintain a professional demeanor at all times. - To qualify as a traveler, must live more than 50 miles from the facility.
