Job Title: Ambulatory Infusion Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Oncology Chemo Certified Job Duration: 8 months Shift: Day shift 5x8-Hour (Monday-Friday, 07:45 - 16:15) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association - Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemo Certification Must-Have: - Ability to work in the vicinity of chemotherapy and hazardous medications - Infusion and Oncology experience along with Telemetry experience Job Description: - Deliver exceptional care in an Ambulatory Infusion setting, including handling chemotherapy treatments - Work collaboratively with a dedicated medical team, including physicians and support staff - Provide education and resources for patients and their families in the Infusion Center - Utilize Epic as the Electronic Medical Record system and Omnicell for medication management - Must be willing to float to different areas as necessary - Compliance with facility policies relating to attendance and professional conduct Please note: The candidate's permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from the specified central location to be eligible to apply. COVID-19 vaccination is not required. Orientation consists of 16 non-billable hours. Modules need to be completed prior to start date.
