Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Job Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 1 year License: MRT license required for those working with radiological equipment Certifications: ACLS Must-Have: - IABP experience - Impella experience - Interventional Cath experience - Peripheral/Coronary experience Job Description: - Work in a unit with 2 Cath Labs, supported by 2 monitor techs, 2 RNs, and 2 techs - Participate in heart catheterizations, interventions, pacemaker insertions, AICD, Watchman procedures, EP ablations, and peripheral venous/arterial procedures - Utilize equipment such as IABP, Impella, stents, balloons, IVUS, FFR, and Ultrasound - Document patient information using Meditech EMR - Provide patient care with a 1:1 staff-to-patient ratio - Engage in on-call duties every other weekend and night - Adhere to a 30-minute response time for callbacks - Required to wear navy scrubs in compliance with the dress code Ideal candidates should exhibit proficiency in EP and demonstrate the best personality fit for the team.
