Major Duties (Job Description) You will Serves as the Deputy Government Special Access Programs Security Officer (D-GSSO) team lead supporting, managing and administering all aspects of SAP security under the supervision and direction of the GSSO. You will provide security assistance for pre-construction, maintenance and modification, including alarms, facility checklists, standard procedures and practices and other documentation required in accreditation approvals for facilities. You will use writing and judgment skills to interact professionally and effectively, orally and in writing, across all personnel levels of the Command and Staff; U.S. government military, civilian, contract, personnel alike. You will administer program indoctrinations/terminations, processes special clearance visit certifications, provides mandatory training and prepares program material for shipping/couriering. You will have extensive knowledge of Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs and the requirements for removable media and equipment handling in SCIF/SAPFs. Qualification Summary NO-04: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or (NO-03) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assists in the oversight of controlled access programs (e.g. special access programs) security operations OR manages clearances and training, AND ensures effective communication across all personnel levels. NO-05: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or NO-04) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Oversees controlled access programs (e.g. special access programs) security operations, manages clearances and training, OR oversees facility compliance, AND ensures effective communication across all personnel levels.
