TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, 03801 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience License: Registered Nurse (RN) license required Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: - Strong telemetry skills - Experience titrating vasoactive and inotrope medications - Chest tube experience - Previous ICU experience Job Description: - Work in a 25-bed ICU unit with a patient ratio of 2:1. - Provide patient care without the assistance of LNAs or PCTs, with support from mid-levels, trauma surgeons, and respiratory therapists available around the clock. PT/OT is available during the day shift. - Operate GE Monitors, Hamilton Bipaps, and Hiflows, as well as Puritan ventilators and Hemospheres. - Utilize the Meditech Expanse documentation system. - Complete an average of 12 shifts per month, including 4 weekend shifts, with the schedule created by department leadership. - Participate in floating rotation with travelers and rotational assignments. - Update MyCare boards during bedside shift reports at each change of shift to ensure patient satisfaction and experience. - Perform procedures such as intubation, central line and arterial line placement, and chest tube placement. - Adhere to a scrubs dress code, with no specific color required. - Staff tenure and experience contribute to a supportive environment with opportunities for skill development in equipment and technology. 26282822EXPPLAT Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS BLS - AHA Core Competency PALS - AHA Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam About Cynet Health Your travel nursing adventure begins here.
