Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Neptune, NJ

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Labor & Delivery (L&D) Care Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, Every Other Weekend Required Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum experience not specified, but must be LDRP trained License: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license Certifications: - Required: BLS-AHA - Preferred: ACLS, Advanced AWHONN, or EFM Must-Have: Must be LDRP trained, including the ability to circulate in the OR for cesarean sections, provide baby care, and care for Magnesium Sulfate patients Job Description: - Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care. - Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs. - Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. - Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans for patients based on initial and ongoing assessments. - Initiate assessments based on patient problems or needs, physician diagnoses, and the functional health framework. - Perform therapeutic nursing interventions. - Manage patient care effectively. - Document care according to standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities. - Advocate for evidence-based practice standards and support the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery. - Provide patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model. - Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
