In this role, you will assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions to help patients regain and enhance their ability to perform daily activities. Key Responsibilities: Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their needs and goals. Therapeutic Intervention: Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions, including exercises, adaptive techniques, and assistive devices to improve patients' functional abilities and independence. Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, therapeutic techniques, and strategies to facilitate recovery and enhance daily living skills. Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of patient assessments, treatment progress, and outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to coordinate patient care and optimize therapeutic outcomes. Adaptability: Adjust to different facility protocols, treatment modalities, and patient populations while providing consistent, high-quality care. Skills & Qualifications: Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills to develop and modify treatment plans as needed. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and teamwork. Knowledge of current occupational therapy practices, evidence-based interventions, and regulatory standards. Ability to adapt to new environments and work efficiently in diverse clinical settings. Education & Experience: Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice; eligibility to work in various states as required. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably with diverse patient populations.
