AlliedTravelCareers is working with TLC Nursing Associates Inc to find a qualified Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in Rawlins, Wyoming, 82301 Pay Information $300 to $1,100 per week About The Position Job Title: Traveler Occupational Therapist We are seeking a licensed Traveler Occupational Therapist for temporary assignments at various healthcare facilities. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or disabilities, helping them regain the skills needed to resume work and daily activities. Key duties include conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and evaluating both work and home environments to recommend necessary adjustments and rehabilitation programs. Key Responsibilities: Perform physical and psychological assessments of patients and create or follow customized treatment plans. Assess patients’ home and work environments to determine necessary adaptations for safety and independence. Recommend and provide guidance on adaptive equipment to aid patients in daily activities. Develop and implement physical rehabilitation programs to help patients regain lost skills and improve their quality of life. Prepare patients for their return to work and advise on job-related modifications, if necessary. Educate patients' caregivers and family members on supportive care techniques. Monitor patient progress, evaluating the effectiveness of therapy and adjusting treatments as needed. Stay informed on the latest treatment practices and rehabilitation techniques to provide the best care. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local certification and healthcare regulations. Evaluate patients’ physical and mental health conditions to ensure holistic care. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from a program accredited by ACOTE (Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education) or AOTA (American Occupational Therapy Association). National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). Valid state licensure for occupational therapy practice. In-depth knowledge of treatment practices and physical rehabilitation programs. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with diverse patient populations. Ability to assess patients’ needs, develop comprehensive treatment plans, and adapt to different clinical environments. Proficiency in using computers and related technology for patient records and documentation.
