AlliedTravelCareers is working with TLC Nursing Associates Inc to find a qualified X-Ray Tech in Keene, New Hampshire, 03431 Pay Information $1,381 to $2,181 per week About The Position Job Title: X-Ray Technician We are seeking a skilled and dedicated X-ray technician to perform high-quality radiographic imaging of patients' bones, tissues, and organs, following physicians' orders. The X-ray technician will ensure that equipment is functioning correctly, maintain clean workspaces, and adhere to safety protocols to limit radiation exposure. This role requires strong communication skills and compassion for patients, especially those with limited mobility. Key Responsibilities: Verify patient identity and review physicians' orders before conducting procedures. Operate X-ray equipment to capture images of bones, tissues, and organs as per the physician’s instructions. Clearly explain procedures to patients and answer their questions. Position and assist patients, including lifting or moving those with mobility challenges. Use protective shielding to minimize patient exposure to radiation. Ensure X-ray image quality meets standards, avoiding unnecessary repeat procedures. Collaborate with radiologists to determine if additional tests are needed. Regularly service and inspect X-ray equipment; report any malfunctions. Maintain accurate records of all completed procedures. Attend mandatory meetings and training sessions. Requirements: Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in radiologic technology, radiology, or related field. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). State licensure. Proven experience as an X-ray technician. Ability to lift and move patients. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
