Job Title: Registered Nurse - Maternal Child Health (MCH) Job Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) - Critical Care Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hrs, 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week Experience: - Minimum 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience. - Preferred: Seven (7) years of recent experience in Level III Neonatal Intensive Care (within the last ten years). License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: - Basic Life Support - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program Must-Have: ACLS Certification Job Description: - Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill neonates in the NICU. - Monitor and assess patients' conditions, responding to changes in their status. - Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. - Ensure the safety and comfort of patients, adhering to all protocols and guidelines. - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. - Engage in continuous professional development and maintain required certifications. - Communicate effectively with patients' families, offering support and education.
