Job Title: Registered Nurse - Maternal Child Health (MCH) Job Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) - Critical Care Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience License: Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - Level III Neonatal Intensive Care experience Must-Have: - ACLS Certification Job Description: - Provide high-quality care for neonatal patients in a Level III NICU. - Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care. - Administer medications and perform advanced life support procedures in accordance with best practices. - Monitor and evaluate patient vital signs and responses, adjusting care plans as necessary. - Educate and support families throughout the NICU process. - Maintain thorough and accurate medical records and documentation. - Participate in continuous education and training opportunities to stay current with neonatal care advances. - Demonstrate strong critical thinking and decision-making skills in high-pressure environments.
