AlliedTravelCareers is working with Pioneer Healthcare Services to find a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Golden, Colorado, 80401 Pay Information $2,053 to $2,117 per week About The Position Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking a committed Speech Language Pathologist SLP to join a school district in Golden, CO for the 2024 - 2025 school year with the possibility to extend. The qualified School Speech Language Pathologist SLP will act as the students' partner throughout their daily tasks and assist students to function at their personal best. You will maximize the quality of life and movement potential within the spheres of promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment or intervention, and rehabilitation. Responsibilities of a School Speech Language Pathologist SLP: • Consult and collaborate with school staff and families in regards to students’ speech and language deficits • Conduct initial screenings as well as comprehensive evaluations in the area of speech and language to determine students’ need for services or need of dismissal from services • Participate in the IEP process in developing present levels of performance, goals and objectives, and treatment recommendations for students qualifying for speech therapy services • Provide speech therapy sessions through the use of current best practices based on prescribed services in the IEP • Maintain all documentation required by the district and ASHA’s code of ethics including, but not limited to, daily notes, monthly summaries, and annual IEP’s • Assumes responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development • New grads and experienced therapists are encouraged to apply - We will support you through this transition • Documentation is completed in a timely, complete, legible, concise and accurate manner Pioneer Healthcare Services is a San Diego-based staffing and travel recruitment firm that specializes in finding exceptional nursing and therapy positions for its clients across the US.
