Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Emergency Room (ER) Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Variable shifts; Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30), Mid 3x12-Hour (15:00 - 03:30) with alternating weekends Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 2 years of experience required License: Valid State RN License required Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) - National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Must-Have: - American Heart Association Certifications in hand at the time of submission - Specific Charting Experience - Epic experience preferred - Ability to go in for lab work within 3-5 days of signing - Clear background check and driving history if relevant Job Description: - Positions will have variable start times ranging between 1500-1900 - Engage in 3x12-hour shifts with alternating weekend shifts - Make every attempt to maintain consistent start times each week - Complete 16 hours of orientation, including non-billable module hours - Modules are typically completed during orientation through e-learning, averaging 1-5 hours based on specialty - Compliance with the travel requirement and understanding that locals are accepted at a different rate - Familiarity with department protocols and commitment to ongoing professional development - Flexibility with one holiday being approved for time off - Return staff policy requires a one-year gap for returning as a traveler This position requires a dedicated and skilled ER nurse ready to tackle the dynamic environment of emergency services while providing excellent patient care.
