Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Labor and Delivery Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 2 years of experience in Obstetrics License: CA RN Licensure Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) by AHA - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Must-Have: - EKG testing required on-site with a minimum pass score of 80% - Experience with Epic charting preferred Job Description: - Accountable for assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care in an acute patient setting. - Deliver holistic and individualized care to all patients in assigned area. - Develop, implement, and coordinate a plan of care incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors. - Foster and maintain collaborative relationships with patients, their family/support group, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely and effective communications. - Weekend rotation required. - Complete modules during orientation, with average time spent between 1-5 hours, and are factored in non-billable orientation hours. Additional Information: - Return staff policy requires a one-year gap to return as a traveler. - Modules are completed during orientation and recorded through e-learning systems.
