Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Medical-Surgical Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: - Familiarity with post-operative patients - Competency in dressing changes, wound care, and drain management Job Description: - Work in a 36-bed medical-surgical unit - Collaborate with a team consisting of a clinical coordinator, registered nurses, techs, and unit secretary - Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6 - Manage and care for post-operative patients, including drain maintenance and wound care - Utilize equipment such as Baxter IV pumps, Medfusion pumps, and SCDs - Use Meditech for electronic medical records - Engage with a fast-paced environment and provide strong patient advocacy - Exhibit teamwork and maintain a positive attitude - Dress in navy blue/white scrubs; hoodies, pull-overs, and t-shirts are not permitted - Contribute to top patient experience scores, measured through HCAHPS Please ensure you meet the minimum requirements before applying.
