TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Oncology RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43210 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical Surgical Oncology Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day/Night 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30 / 19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical and Oncology experience required License: Must have a valid compact or state nursing license Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Certification - Preferred: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Must-Have: - Experience with Medical-Surgical/Telemetry (MS/Tele) - Telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias - Use of Rapid Response Teams - Feeding tube care and management - Blood product administration - Central line blood draw - Peripheral line care/management - PICC line management - Nasal cannula administration - Chemotherapy certification Job Description: - Work in a mixed acuity Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Medical-Surgical unit. - Care for patients undergoing various types of stem cell transplants, including: - Autologous Transplants (own stem cells) - Syngeneic Transplants (identical twin stem cells) - Allogeneic Transplants (sibling, parent, or unrelated donor stem cells) - Administer CAR-T Therapy. - Manage and care for patients with diagnoses such as: - Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) - Acute Myeloid Leukemia - Amyloidosis - Aplastic Anemia - Chronic Leukemia - Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) - Chronic Myeloid Leukemia - Hodgkin's Lymphoma - Multiple Myeloma - Myelodysplastic Syndrome - Myeloproliferative Disorders - Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma - Be flexible with scheduling, as there is no set schedule for weekdays or weekends. - Maximum of 1-2 days of Requested Time Off (RTO) is allowed. - Complete 24 hours of orientation at the start of the assignment. - Provide care that meets facility standards and compliance deadlines. - Must be willing to cooperate with credentialing and fingerprinting processes promptly. 26208934EXPPLAT Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS BLS - AHA Core Competency Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam About Cynet Health Your travel nursing adventure begins here.
