AlliedTravelCareers is working with Pioneer Healthcare Services to find a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Iowa Falls, Iowa, 50126 Pay Information $2,153 to $2,219 per week About The Position A Skilled Nursing Facility SNF in Iowa Falls, IA is looking for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist SLP to join their team for a 13 - week contract with the possibility to extend. Speech Language Pathologists SLPs who work for Pioneer Healthcare Services are dedicated professionals who interact amongst diverse populations and are enthusiastic about the difference they make in their patients' lives through assessment and treatment. Responsibilities of a Skilled Nursing Facility SNF Speech Language Pathologist SLP: • Provides Speech Therapy services to residents and initiates referrals when appropriate and in accordance with Speech • Therapy Department procedures • Interprets and communicates evaluation findings to patients, family, and other team members • Coordinates treatment plans with patients, family, and other team members • To evaluate residents to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and develop a treatment plan that includes a target list, short-term and long-term goals • To supervise and direct the Speech Language Pathologists Assistants (SLPAs) in the implementation of treatment plans • 36 hours guaranteed • 13 week assignment • Documentation is completed in a timely, complete, legible, concise and accurate manner • New grads and experienced therapists are encouraged to apply - We will support you through this transition Qualifications of a Skilled Nursing Facility SNF Speech Language Pathologist SLP: • Must have their CCCs • Current BLS/CPR Certification • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program • Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of work assignment • Experience assessing and diagnosing speech, language, voice, flu Pioneer Healthcare Services is located in beautiful San Diego and specializes in staffing and travel recruiting for nurses and therapists seeking jobs in the U.S. Our well versed team of professionals are devoted to providing exceptional wages alongside medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K, housing, meals, incidentals allowance and even relocation assistance if needed.
