Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Job Specialty: Respiratory Care Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: 5 years preferred License: MN RT license Certifications: RRT (preferred), BLS, PALS, NRP, ACLS Must-Have: Independent worker, must work alone; every other weekend required Job Description: - Perform routine respiratory care, including EEG, PFT, EKG, pulmonary rehab, and both invasive and noninvasive ventilator management. - Conduct patient education sessions and manage holter monitors. - Utilize equipment within the unit, such as Epic EMR and Omnicell. - Provide hands-on training and maintain the ability to practice in a critical access hospital setting with 25 beds. - Work 12-hour shifts from 0630 to 1900, with on-call duties from 1900 to 0630 for emergencies, including three 12-hour shifts per week, along with three call shifts. - Wear gray scrubs as per the dress code. This position does not involve scheduled night shifts, but you must be available for on-call emergencies. Availability for every other weekend is required.
