Position: Travel Registered Nurse Location: Memphis, Tennessee Schedule: Night (3x12 Hours) 7:00 19:00 Unit: CVPICU What You'll Do: As a CVP ICU Travel RN, you will have the unique opportunity to work in diverse healthcare settings, gaining valuable experience while making a meaningful impact on patients recovering from complex cardiovascular surgeries. Your dedication to excellence and adaptability will be key in delivering top-tier care to critically ill patients during their most vulnerable moments. Responsibilities: Monitor and assess patients' cardiovascular status, including hemodynamic monitoring, ECG interpretation, and management of life support equipment. Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosages and adherence to protocols. Perform advanced nursing procedures, including central line care, ventilator management, and complex wound care. Provide comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated and effective patient care. Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation in electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Respond to medical emergencies, initiate appropriate interventions, and participate in code blue and rapid response teams. Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, ensuring compliance with all safety and infection control protocols.
