Position : Travel Registered Nurse Location : Memphis, Tennessee Schedule : Day (3x12 Hours) 7:00 19:00 & Night (3x12) Hours 19;00 7:00 Duration : 13-Week Contract Unit : CVIICU What You'll Do : The Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Travel Registered Nurse (RN) will provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients with cardiovascular conditions. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in various healthcare settings nationwide. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in critical care and cardiovascular nursing, a strong clinical skill set, and the ability to adapt to new environments quickly. Responsibilities: Monitor and assess patients' cardiovascular status, including hemodynamic monitoring, ECG interpretation, and management of life support equipment. Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosages and adherence to protocols. Perform advanced nursing procedures, including central line care, ventilator management, and complex wound care. Provide comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated and effective patient care. Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation in electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Respond to medical emergencies, initiate appropriate interventions, and participate in code blue and rapid response teams. Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, ensuring compliance with all safety and infection control protocols.
