If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to excellence in surgical assistance , we want to hear from you Position : Travel RN CVOR Tech Location : Memphis, Tennessee Schedule : Day (5x8 Hours) 8:00 17:00 Unit : Labor and Delivery What You'll Do : As a CVOR Technician you will play a crucial role in the cardiovascular operating room by preparing and maintaining a sterile environment for surgical procedures. They assist the surgical team by handling instruments, monitoring patient vitals, and ensuring that all necessary equipment is ready for use. Additionally, they collaborate closely with surgeons and nurses to facilitate smooth operations, contributing to patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes. Their expertise in surgical techniques and equipment management is vital to the success of cardiovascular surgeries. Resp onsibilities : Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the cardiovascular operating room, ensuring all equipment is sterile and ready for use. Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal care during surgeries. Prepare and handle surgical instruments, sutures, and supplies in a timely and efficient manner. Monitor patient vital signs and assist in maintaining a sterile environment throughout the procedure. Maintain and operate specialized cardiovascular equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety. Participate in the setup and breakdown of the operating room after procedures, including cleaning and sterilizing instruments. Document and report any discrepancies or concerns to the surgical team.
