The qualified Skilled Nursing Facility SNF Occupational Therapist OT will act as the patients' partner throughout their daily tasks and assist patients to function at their personal best. Skilled Nursing Facility SNF Occupational Therapist OT will maximize the quality of life and movement potential within the spheres of promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment or intervention, and rehabilitation. Responsibilities of a Skilled Nursing Facility SNF Occupational Therapist OT: • Evaluate and treat a wide range of conditions • Communicate effectively with other therapists, family members, and patients • Consistently exhibit courtesy, compassion and respect • Cultivate caring relationships through therapeutic use of self to facilitate recovery and health • Develop and provide therapeutic and occupation-based interventions to promote increased participation in activities of daily living • 36 hours guaranteed • 13 week assignment • Documentation is completed in a timely, complete, legible, concise and accurate manner • New grads and experienced therapists are encouraged to apply - We will support you through this transition Pioneer Healthcare Services is a San Diego-based staffing and travel recruitment firm that specializes in finding exceptional nursing and therapy positions for its clients across the US.
