Travel Nurse RN - Pediatrics in Long Beach, CA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Pediatrics Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years and travel experience required License: California License in hand required Certifications: BLS, PALS Must-Have: - Experience in General Peds Unit & Pediatrics Hem/Oncology, NICU, PICU - Flu Vaccine (medical/religious exemptions only) - Documentation System: EPIC - Pre-approved time off must be included at submission Job Description: - Provide acute pediatric nursing care during night shifts. - Float within the hospital based on census, covering General Peds Unit, Peds Hem/Oncology, NICU, and PICU as needed. - Work required weekends on a rotating basis: every other weekend for night shifts on Friday and Saturday. - Modules must be completed pre-start, and hours vary by specialty. Modules are recorded via certificates/transcripts. - Complete 8 hours of RN modules and 4 hours of Allied modules prior to start. - Ensure compliance with city protocols and complete necessary documentation accurately and timely. Additional Notes: - First-time candidates are not accepted. - Locals are accepted under certain conditions; contact the account manager for details. - Candidates must have one recent reference (within 2 years). - Previous permanent staff are not eligible for this position.
