TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PICU RN in Washington, Washington DC, 20007 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: 2 years of experience with vents, CPAP, and/or BIPAP, as well as Central Line Care License: DC RN Licensure - Pending license accepted but must have license prior to start date Certifications: BLS, PALS, IV Start Certification preferred Must-Have: - 1 prior travel assignment completed - Requirement to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity; may float to NICU as needed - Flu vaccine required Job Description: - Provide high-quality care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit - Maintain a patient ratio of 1:2-3 - Work every other weekend; no on-call requirement - May encounter COVID-19 patients - Complete 28 hours of orientation - Finish required modules pre-start and potentially during orientation - The flu vaccine is mandatory with no exemptions Note: - Three or more absences in a 13-week contract may result in immediate termination of the contract - Supervisor references required - Candidates must be prepared to work without a preliminary interview 26399697EXPPLAT Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS BLS - AHA Core Competency Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam About Cynet Health Your travel nursing adventure begins here.
