Travel Nurse RN - Cath Lab in Carbondale, IL

Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse Job Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Four 10-hour shifts (7 am to 5:30 pm) with rotating days off throughout the month Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience preferred License: Registered Nurse (RN) Certifications: Relevant certifications in cardiac care and moderate sedation (preferred) Must-Have: Experience in administering moderate sedation and assisting with cardiac procedures Job Description: - Administer moderate sedation to patients during cardiac procedures. - Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and stability. - Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment and procedure areas. - Participate in a variety of procedures including, but not limited to, left heart catheterization, right heart catheterization, peripheral interventions, carotid stents, abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAAs), transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), and device implants. - Be on-call for one weekday per week and one weekend every four weeks. - Collaborate with the medical team to provide exceptional patient care. - Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system for documentation. Note: Holiday coverage is not required, and bilingual skills are not required.
