Travel Nurse RN - Oncology in Baltimore, MD

Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Oncology Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: Information not provided Experience: Minimum 1 year; first-time travelers accepted License: Active MD or Compact License required at time of submission Certifications: Required: BLS, Preferred: Chemo (ONS/ONCC) Must-Have: Inpatient oncology Job Description: - Provide nursing care to patients with hematologic and solid tumor malignancies. - Maintain a patient ratio of 1:3-5. - Utilize the Epic documentation system for patient records. - Ability to float to similar units and within the hospital system as needed. - Work every other weekend and participate in the holiday rotation. - Wear navy blue scrubs during shifts. - Comply with the requirement of a flu vaccine, with no exemptions allowed. - Attend a 24-hour orientation session. - Submit a satisfactory professional reference from one supervisor/manager and one charge RN from recent employers. - Be flexible with rotational time off, acknowledging that it should not exceed 7 days, with certain stipulations for longer periods. - Available to return as a traveler after a six-month gap from the prior assignment, and for former staff after a 12-month gap. - Maintain compliance with a document deadline 5 days before the start. - Comfortable and ready to float with no restrictions within the scope of experience.
