Job Title: Allied Tech - Cath Lab Tech Job Specialty: Nursing - RN Medical Center Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day - 5x8 - 07AM - 03PM Guaranteed Hours: Experience: 2 years as Invasive Cath Lab Tech License: ARRT Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Impella, aortic balloon pump, arterial lines, cardiac cath scrub experience - Laser lead extraction, Rotoblator, FFR, IVUS, Impella, IABP (balloon pump), EKOS, pacemaker, scrub and pan table - Medrad, groin site management and monitoring Job Description: - Provide support in a Cath Lab with a 1:1 patient ratio - Manage diagnostic/interventional procedures including LHC/RCH, NSTEMI and STEMI - Operate advanced equipment like Rotoblator, CTOs/staged PCI, shockwave, and temp pacers - Handle peripheral (legs) diagnostic/intervention and loop recorders - Assist with EP procedures including Micra, pacemaker, AICDs, lead extractions/revisions, and generator changes - Utilize EPIC charting, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, and Philips telemetry monitoring - Participate in one day of orientation - Work in collaboration with the charge nurse, receptionist, and Hospitalist/Physician - Adhere to procedural scrubs protocol provided by the facility
