Position Duties/Responsibilities Provides electronic intelligence (ELINT) data to HARM and AARGM to track and locate signals of interest. Also provides major (e.g. annual) and minor updates to the fleeted UDF by translating ELINT to missile sensor parameters based on missile algorithms, documentation, and testing. A UDF engineer or analyst is involved throughout the entire UDF development and release cycle including: Gathering and interpreting applicable electronic intelligence (ELINT) data Identifying what needs to be modified, added, or removed in the next release by creating the electronic order of battle (EOB) Modifying and creating HARM and AARGM entries in the UDF utilizing sensor engineering for each missile according to the ELINT available Performing anechoic chamber testing Creating flight test matrices Contributes to the UDF test summary report after the final UDF flight Responding to fleet needs Investigate solutions to improve missile performance Minimum Salary $101,121 Maximum Salary $156,323
