TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in Charleston, West Virginia, 25304 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Operating Room Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00), weekends required Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience; 1 year of in-specialty experience License: WV or Compact RN License (pending license acceptable) Certifications: BLS required (American Heart Association) Must-Have: - Circulate and scrub experience - Proficiency in cardiac and general surgery, vascular, thoracic, robotics, vein harvesting, and radial artery harvesting Job Description: - Operating Room RN for 3x12 Days, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with weekend shifts required (either Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday) - On-call requirement: 1 day per week with 1-2 weekend call shifts per 4-5 week schedule - Average daily census of 22 cases - Must be proficient in: - Vascular surgeries (including AV fistulas/grafts, aortic surgeries/bypasses, femoral to popliteal or distal bypasses, carotids, embolectomies) - Orthopedic procedures (arthroscopies and total joints) - General surgeries (colorectal/colon resections, laparoscopic-assisted surgeries, Whipples, liver resections, thyroids, mastectomies) - ENT procedures (tracheostomies, laryngectomies, radical neck dissections) - Urology procedures (cystectomies, nephrectomies, prostatectomies, various implants, cysto related procedures) - Robotics (gyn, colorectal, hernias, lap nissens) - GYN surgeries (abdominal/vaginal hysterectomies, posterior/anterior repairs) Additional Details: - Orientation includes 16 hours - Modules to be completed prior to start and included in orientation hours - Scrub colors: Royal Blue or White or a combination of both - Charting systems: Cerner & Accudose 26242606EXPPLAT Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA Core Competency Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam About Cynet Health Your travel nursing adventure begins here.
