Travel Nurse RN - ICU/Critical Care in Long Beach, CA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Cardio Thoracic ICU Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years in CTICU required License: Valid and current license required Certifications: BLS and PALS Must-Have: - Travel experience - Ability to float to PICU and NICU Job Description: - Work 3x12 hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:30 in the Cardio Thoracic ICU. - Open to first-time candidates with CTICU experience. - Ability to float within the hospital based on census needs, including shifts in PICU and NICU. - No on-call requirement. - Must work 4 weekend shifts within a 4-week schedule. - Required to work 2 minor holidays and 1 major holiday. - Document work using the EPIC system. - RTO (Requested Time Off) to be pre-approved and included during application submission. - Complete non-billable modules prior to start; modules vary by specialty and are recorded through certificates/transcripts. - Flu vaccine required; exemptions considered for medical or religious reasons. - Comply with travel compliance standards for the area. Note: Candidates must provide one reference within the last two years and have no previous permanent staff status.
