Key Responsibilities:

As the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our office warehouse. This role involves overseeing the receiving, storage, shipping, and delivery of materials to commercial roof project job sites in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, shipping, and delivering materials and supplies.
  • Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff, focusing on inventory control and material handling.
  • Develop and implement effective inventory control systems for accurate tracking of materials and equipment.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Develop processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance project satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure safe and timely delivery of materials to job sites.
  • Load trucks securely for delivery in compliance with FDOT regulations.
  • Unload materials and equipment safely.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and expenses.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement necessary changes.
  • Proficiently use web searches and cloud-based software for manufacturer warranties and product data.
  • Update the Project Shared Drive with material movements and delivery tickets for accountability.
  • Utilize CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) for reporting and data retrieval.
  • Represent the company professionally and ethically in all interactions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational abilities to meet deadlines with high-quality outcomes.
  • Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry standards for warehousing.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Experience in the commercial roofing industry or a similar construction-related field is a plus.
  • Familiarity with roofing materials and equipment preferred.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) or similar software.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Previous experience managing a team is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
