Job Title: Radiologic Technologist We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist Traveler to operate diagnostic imaging equipment for temporary assignments in various healthcare facilities. The radiologic technologist will follow physicians' orders to capture high-quality images of tissues, bones, organs, and vessels. This role also involves positioning patients and equipment, answering patients' questions, and occasionally assisting in radiation therapy treatments or administering radiopharmaceuticals. Key Responsibilities: Prepare examination rooms and ensure all equipment is ready for use. Administer radiopharmaceuticals or assist in radiation therapy to obtain clear diagnostic images. Position patients and equipment, explain the procedure to ensure comfort, and monitor patient safety throughout. Input commands and data into imaging systems to document and control scan sequences, adjusting image contrast or density as needed. Monitor and observe patients during procedures, following safety protocols to prevent unnecessary radiation exposure. Produce diagnostic images, report critical findings to physicians, and maintain accurate patient records. Organize daily schedules, prioritize emergencies, and manage radiographic supply inventory. Handle administrative tasks, including answering technical questions, scheduling exams, and providing pre-procedure instructions. Perform regular maintenance on radiologic equipment and manage emergency repairs when needed. Requirements: Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology or a related field. State licensure and certification in radiography. Proven experience in radiology, with strong technical and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care. Good organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail. Ability to lift and move heavy patients or equipment as necessary.
