Practice Overview:
Join an esteemed Heart Group, recognized with an STS 3-Star rating for its CABG Program. Our practice is experiencing consistent growth, particularly in Cardiac, Thoracic, and TAVR cases. We provide a supportive environment with a focus on collaboration and excellence. Our modern office facility boasts 16 exam rooms and Cardiopulmonary Rehab services.
Currently, our CTS Program includes one Surgeon and one Physician Assistant, and we are seeking to expand our team by adding a second PA/NP.
Job Description:
- Schedule: One Clinic Day per Week with the remainder allocated for Operating Room (OR) and Inpatient (IP) Management.
- Responsibilities include Surgical 1st Assist (including VATS and Thoracotomies), Endoscopic Vein Harvesting, pre-op evaluation, surgery preparation, inpatient management in CVICU and Telemetry Floor, and post-op evaluations in follow-up appointments.
- Call duties involve OR Coverage, Inpatient Management, and Outpatient Phone Calls, shared with additional support from locums, ensuring a manageable workload and exceptional quality of life.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience in Vein Harvesting.
- Experience as Surgical 1st Assist.
- Certified PA/NP.
- Must be able to provide: Surgical 1st Assist including VATS and Thoracotomies, Endoscopic Vein Harvesting, Pre-op evaluation of patients and surgery prep, post-op inpatient management in CVICU and Telemetry Floor as well as post-op evaluations in follow-up appointments.
