Material Handler - GMP Inventory MA

Job ***** Material Handler - GMP Inventory ***** North Billerica, MA (Onsite) ***** 6 months to permanent, full-time Shift : 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM ***** $28/Hr on W2 Job Responsibilities
Ensure timely receipt, storage, control, and distribution of raw materials, finished goods, and expensed items. Execute receipt transactions utilizing ERP/MRP software applications. Support inventory cycle-count program and resolve discrepancies. Provide Materials Handling support to Manufacturing, Supply Chain Operations, Quality, and other site customers. Ensure safe work environment and adjust daily schedule to meet manufacturing demands. Support sampling of incoming materials and delivery of samples to testing laboratories.
Essential Functions
Inspect, account for, and receive materials utilizing ERP computer application systems. Resolve ERP/MRP issues related to Materials operations. Manage materials storage, monitoring, and disposition following established SOPs. Execute accurate inventory transactions for raw materials, finished goods, and packaging components. Maintain product/lot segregation in compliance with FDA and cGMP guidelines. Interact with Planning and Procurement departments to resolve vendor receipt issues.
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma with 4 years of experience, Associates with 2 years of experience, or Bachelors degree with 1 year of experience. Experience driving a forklift required. Previous experience managing chemicals or materials with expiration dates in FDA/GMP regulated Pharmaceutical or related industry required. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Experience procuring using ERP/MRP in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
Other Requirements
Experience with cycle counting and physical inventory practices. Successful completion of GMP, radiation, occupational, and safety training programs. Meet physical and OSHA requirements for job position. Flexibility to handle changing priorities and sound technical skills. Proven organizational skills and initiative. Valid drivers license and ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
Preferred Qualifications
1 year of experience driving a 26 Box truck or equivalent delivery vehicle.
