This position will be responsible for managing and leading a team of sourcing professionals, focused on Data Center clients. Strategic Leadership Provide impactful leadership in a collaborative environment. Drive results through program implementation and monitoring success. Ensure all accounts meet KPIs and Goals set forth by Sourcing & Procurement and Client. Oversee assigned portfolio compliance and controls, develop new and innovative sourcing strategies, identify opportunities for improvement. Build strong cross-functional relationships to drive both immediate and sustained benefits to Clients. Proactively manage internal and external expectations by understanding their business needs and priorities. Work closely with engineering, operations and delivery teams to identify key supply risks impacting on-time data center delivery and implement proactive mechanisms to mitigate risks. Bring strategic thought leadership to the team, as it relates to Sourcing and People Manager activities. Ensure contracting and procurement standards, policies and procedures are maintained and followed throughout the portfolio of managed accounts. Sponsor and lead the development of long term supply agreements to mitigate capacity and delivery risks, drive cost savings and enable faster DC delivery. Account Oversight and People Management Oversight of Annual Sourcing Plan development and implementation across Data Center clients. Ensure sourcing technology tools are leveraged where applicable. Ensure compliance to sourcing and contracting policies and procedures. Review and analyze data to make effective business decisions. Partner your teams with operations by providing management, detailed instruction and continuous follow-up to support the operations teams in standardized RFP/bid and contract processes. Be proactive and manage internal and external customer expectations. Establish relationship with key stakeholders, including Corporate Legal and Risk Management to ensure all contractual terms and conditions comply with standard or other contract changes are formally reviewed and approved by legal/risk management. Education and experience 8+ years strategic sourcing experience for services or indirect categories related to facilities services highly desired. People management experience. Bachelor’s Degree – Business, Supply Chain Management preferred. MBA, a plus. CPM, CPSM or CPSD certification preferred. Knowledge, skills, and abilities Proven track record of leading teams, with an ability to influence across the organization and deliver results in evolving environments. Strategic mindset with the ability to develop strategic roadmaps and translate into executable plans and supply solutions. Superior customer service, relationship building and follow up skills. Excellent PC skills, proficient in MS applications - Excel, Word & PowerPoint. E-procurement experience, preferably Jaggaer. Motivated to grow and perform in a high-performance organization. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict timelines. Excellent inter-personal and communication skills. Strong analytical and organization ability. Estimated total compensation for this position: 218,750.00 – 231,250.00 USD per year. Location: Remote – Charlotte, NC, Richmond, VA.
