Lead Data Management Consultant

role presents an exciting opportunity to develop innovative scripting solutions that enhance data management capabilities, streamline automation, and contribute to the evolution of the Workiva Platform. You'll be instrumental in defining and implementing scalable solutions that drive customer innovation. This role emphasizes technical leadership, creativity, and collaboration to deliver impactful results. What You'll Do

Use Case Identification and Development: Identify and develop advanced Python scripting use cases through cross-functional sessions, considering client needs and technical landscapes. Scripting and Automation: Develop robust Python scripts to automate data processes, enhance data management capabilities, integrate new features into the Workiva Platform, and extend the Workiva Platform. Consulting and Strategic Leadership: Provide expert consulting services to internal teams and external clients and partners, advocating best practices in scalable data management and scripting. Implementation Services: Implement Platform scripting solutions that ensure efficient deployment and operation. Influencing Product Development: Collaborate with product teams to guide product feature design and enhancement based on insights from data management challenges and scripting efficiencies. Knowledge Sharing: Promote knowledge sharing and skills development by becoming a reference in the Workiva online developer community, organizing workshops, writing white papers, and conducting presentations on Workiva scripting capabilities and their benefits. Documentation and Analytics: Create detailed documentation for implemented scripts and system architectures. Generate insightful metrics to evaluate solution efficiency and scalability of solutions in place. What You'll Need

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or related fields. Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience with Python scripting and implementing data management solutions. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with business stakeholders, application partners, and product managers to gather data requirements and convert them into technical designs. Extensive experience with Python scripting, automation, and data manipulation for building scalable workflows. Experience executing APIs using SOAP and REST protocols through scripting. Programming experience in Python libraries like NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib. Active Python certification(s) PCAP/PCAP1. Provide technical guidance on implementing OpenAPI specifications and act as a subject matter expert (SME) for OpenAPI standards. Experience with Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and Data analytics platforms/services. Experience with API management tools, Middleware & Data integration/ETL platforms (e.g., Informatica, Workato, Talend, MuleSoft), and databases (SQL, NoSQL). Travel Requirements & Working Conditions

Up to 25% travel to meet with customers, vendors, suppliers, or attend trade shows. Reliable internet access for remote work. How You'll Be Rewarded

Salary range in the US: $151,000.00 - $242,000.00. A discretionary bonus typically paid annually. Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire. 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package. The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.
