Job Description
LHH Recruitment is partnering with a construction company in Tempe who is in search of a full time HR Administrative Assistant to join their team. This job is Monday-Friday either 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm.
he HR Administrative Assistant will provide comprehensive support to the Human Resources department in all administrative tasks. This role involves managing employee records, assisting with recruiting efforts, coordinating onboarding, and handling general HR inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files, including confidential documentation and records. Assist with HR database updates and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Prepare and organize onboarding materials for new hires, including paperwork, benefits enrollment, and company policies. Ensure smooth and efficient new hire orientation.
Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling HR-related inquiries.
Assist employees with benefit enrollment, questions, and updates. Coordinate with payroll on new hires, terminations, and other personnel changes.
Assist with maintaining compliance with state and federal employment laws. Help prepare reports and documentation for audits, inspections, and legal inquiries.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or HR certification preferred).
- At least 1 year of experience in an administrative or HR support role, preferably in a construction or similar industry.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and basic HR software or systems (experience with construction industry software is a plus).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Pay Details: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour
