Family Practice/Primary Care Physician Assistant

JOB DESCRIPTION: Hospital in southern Georgia is seeking an experienced primary care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Cancer Center. Competitive salary along with a comprehensive and generous benefits package. Job Details:

• Office hours: Monday Friday; 8AM -5PM
• Diagnosis and treatment of specialty-specific patients for age groups: adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Assessment and management of pain
• Outpatient/inpatient clinical responsibilities apply to specialty-specific patients for age groups: adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Understands the importance of excellent customer service and teamwork
• Maintains complete, accurate, and legible documentation
• Assumes responsibility for professional development and ongoing education to maintain a high degree of proficiency
• Demonstrates a consistent level of performance and productivity
