Job Overview:
Soliant Education is currently seeking aRemote School Psychologistfor afull-time, contract positionto serve South Carolina school districts for the2024-2025 school year. This is a remote opportunity that allows you to work from the fort of your own home while supporting students across the state. The selected candidate will provide psychological services including evaluations, counseling, and behavioral support to students in K-12 schools.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psycho-educational evaluations for students to assess cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions for students, focusing on mental health, social-emotional development, and coping skills.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school teams.
  • Offer consultation to teachers, parents, and school staff on student behavior, learning difficulties, and mental health concerns.
  • Provide behavioral intervention strategies and develop Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs) for students with challenging behaviors.
  • Support students during crisis situations with virtual counseling and intervention services.
  • Maintain thorough, accurate, and up-to-date records of all evaluations, counseling sessions, and interventions provided.
  • Work closely with school staff and parents to ensure students are receiving appropriate support and services.
  • Participate in virtual meetings with school staff, IEP teams, and families to discuss student progress and support plans.

Requirements:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Valid South Carolina School Psychologist certification (or eligibility).
  • Previous experience as a school psychologist in a K-12 setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of psycho-educational assessments, IEPs, and 504 Plans.
  • Excellent munication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a virtual setting.
  • Experience with telehealth platforms and providing virtual services is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a caseload effectively in a remote environment.
