TMD Staffing is looking to hire a Heavy Duty Forklift Operator (Versa) in the 77038 area! 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

In-Person, Yard, Warehouse

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Operate Versa forklift to safely transport materials, equipment, or products within the warehouse or job site:

• Load and unload trucks, trailers, or storage containers efficiently, ensuring that all materials are handled with care to avoid damage. 

• Stack and organize products/materials in designated areas using proper storage techniques. 

• Perform inspections of the forklift before and after each shift to ensure it is in good working order; report any maintenance needs or malfunctions. 

• Collaborate with team members to move large or heavy materials to meet production and project deadlines. 

• Follow safety guidelines and regulations to prevent accidents, injuries, or product damage. 

• Maintain inventory records of materials moved or stored, using scanning systems or manual logs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Proven experience as a Versa forklift operator or in a similar heavy-duty forklift operation role:

• Valid forklift operator certification (specific to Versa forklifts, if required). 

• Familiarity with Versa forklifts and their unique capabilities (multi-directional or heavy-duty). 

• Ability to work in various environmental conditions (e.g., heat, cold, outdoor environments). 

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols. 

• Physical stamina and ability to lift/move heavy objects. 

• Team player with good communication skills. Preferred Skills: 

• Experience operating a range of material-handling equipment.

Preferred Skills :

• Experience operating a range of material-handling equipment. 

• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory control software. 

• Previous experience in construction, manufacturing, or logistics industries. Work Environment: 

• Warehouse or outdoor construction site. 

• Standing, bending, and moving for extended periods. 

• Exposure to noise, heavy machinery, and varying weather conditions.

PAY RATE

$Depending on Experience

SCHEDULE

Monday-Friday, day shift but flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed
