Position Summary:
An Accounting Clerk is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the finance department, ensuring accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions. The role involves handling accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, reconciling bank statements, and maintaining financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
1.Accounts Payable and Receivable:
oProcess invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely and accurate manner.
oReconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
2.Data Entry and Record Keeping:
oAccurately input financial data into accounting software.
oMaintain and organize financial records, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
3.Bank Reconciliation:
oReconcile bank statements with internal financial records.
oInvestigate and resolve any discrepancies.
4.Expense Management:
oAssist in monitoring company expenses and preparing expense reports.
oEnsure compliance with organizational policies.
5.Administrative Support:
oAssist with preparing financial statements and reports as needed.
oRespond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.
6.Compliance and Auditing:
oSupport audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
oEnsure adherence to internal controls and financial regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:
o1–2 years of experience in an accounting or clerical role is preferred.
oFamiliarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Yardi, Expensify, ) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
oStrong numerical and analytical abilities.
oExcellent organizational and time-management skills.
oHigh level of accuracy and attention to detail.
oStrong communication skills, both verbal and written.
oAbility to handle confidential information responsibly.
oWillingness to adapt to new tools, software, and processes.
