Quality Enterprises USA, Inc., a leading heavy civil construction company, is seeking a
Heavy Equipment Mechanic
to perform maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs on company equipment and heavy machinery in a safe, efficient, and quality-focused manner at their Naples, FL location.
Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Oversee the upkeep, maintenance,
and repair work on heavy construction equipment including bulldozers,
cranes, graders, and other equipment. Adjust equipment and repair
and/or replace defective parts, components, or systems using hand and
power tools. Test mechanical products and
equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and
compliance with manufacturer’s specifications. Clean, lubricate, and perform
other routine maintenance work on equipment. Service attachments and tools
such as blades, ploughs, winches, and side booms. Complete required inspections and
preventative maintenance on equipment to maximize safety, productivity,
and lifespan. Craft thorough reports and
records in a timely manner and provide final documentation to upper
management. Monitor equipment for compliance
with prescribed operating and safety standards. Participate in general shop
operations and maintain a clean and safe work environment. Other duties as assigned.
Must be able to look at
mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, identify problems and think
about possible solutions. Experience with Directional
Drills, crushers, and cranes a plus. Experience with CAT preferred. Ability to read and understand
operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings. Heavy equipment maintenance
experience required. Must be able to lift up to 50
lbs., have a valid CDL license and DOT physical card, and pass a
pre-employment drug test. Demonstrate continuous effort to
improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes
and work cooperatively and jointly.
